Chess Club
“Chess is the gymnasium of the mind” – Blaise Pascal. BMC Chess Club capitalizes three key areas of academic ecosystem through a game - Tactics: Strategy: Mastery. It aims to explore the hidden talents of students and train them to make a winning strategy in career and life. Chess is more than a game.It enhances concentration power, patience, creativity, problem solving skills and how to face the failures and many more. BMC Chess Club objectifies three tier approach; Talent Drive (College Level), Talent Show (University Level) and Talent Champion (State Level). The Chess Club & Physical Education Department jointly conducts periodical and seasonal sessions such as inter-department competitions and Training Workshops. BMC Chess club has drawn wonderful achievements in various levels under the leadership of International Chess Player Dr. Nimmy A George.
