The Emblem- The College Emblem is the symbolic expression of the legacy of the vision and mission as envisaged by its founders. The emblem is a shield with an imprint of the map of India on the right, a heart on the left, and a crown on top. The open book with a burning lamp in front of the eye symbolises knowledge and wisdom that emanates from the Divine. It also symbolises holistic knowledge/education, as the book stands for both the Bible and the Constitution of India, that the College imparts to its student community. The flaming heart on the left signifies the unconditional love and compassion of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Heavenly Mother and divine patron of the College, who instills in her children a burning desire for true wisdom and consuming love for fellow beings. The crown on the top of Bharata Mata symbolises the glory of the Heavenly Mother Mary, and the rich and regal heritage of our motherland India. The rays from the Omniscient Eye denote the all-encompassing love and protection of the Almighty. The rays also signify the light of wisdom, truth, and knowledge required to serve God and country, and the blessings that dispel the darkness of ignorance, untruth, and immorality. The Latin phrase “Pro Deo et Patria” meaning “For God and Country” closes the frame of the logo, marking the ultimate end of education as the founding fathers envisaged it.
