Bharata Mata College is a NACC accredited (A+) first grade arts and science co-educational institution of higher learning in the aided sector, under Bharata Mata College  Educational Trust owned and managed by the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. Established in 1965 by His Eminence the late Cardinal Joseph Parecattil, the college is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The college was included under section 2 (f) and 12 (b) of UGC Act 1956 in 1976 and accredited at the A+ level by NAAC in 2019.Thecollege is offering 17 under graduate courses, 6 post-graduate programmes, 2 professional courses and 4 research centers.

Bharata Mata Institute of Management was established in 2005 with AICTE  approval for offering MBA progeamme affiliated to M.G.University , Kottayam  with an annual intake of  60 (S.F). Recently we have invested 14 crores for developing state of the art infrastructure along the seaport-airport highway for BMIM with the intension of expanding the annual intake to 120. In order to meet the anticipated faculty requirement at different levels we are inviting applications for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Positions in all areas of specializations.

  2. Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience :
    a. Applicants should be first class MBA’s preferably with NET and or Ph.D. in Management from reputed Institutions.
    b. Applicants should have sufficient experience in teaching, industry & research with reputed institutions.
    c. Should have research papers published in International / National Journals. Applicants who have carried out consultancy works will be given preference.
    d. Exposure in handling funded projects will be an added advantage
  3. Academic Responsibilities:
    a. Classroom presentation.
    b. Development of Learning Resource Materials 
    c. Student Assessment & Evaluation including Examination work of University.
    d. Participation in Co-curricular & extracurricular activities
    e. Student’s guidance, counseling & helping in their personal, ethical, moral, and overall character development  
    f. Keeping abreast of new knowledge and skills, help to generate new knowledge and help dissemination of such knowledge through hand books, publications, seminars, conferences, case development etc.
    g. Continuing Education Activities Self-development through upgrading qualifications & Professional activities
  4. Research & Consultancy Responsibilities:
    a. Research development activities & Research guidance    
    b. Industry sponsored projects  
    c. Providing consultancy   
    d. Promotion of industry–institution interaction
  5. Academic / Administrative Responsibilities:
    a. Academic and Administrative management of the institution as directed by the Academic Director
    b. Policy planning, monitoring & evaluation, and promotional activities; both at the department level and institution level
    c. Preparing project proposals for getting funds, expansion, etc
    d. Develop, update and maintain MIS
    e. Plan and implement staff development activities, conduct performance appraisal
    f. Extension / Industrial Connectivity
    g. Interaction with Industry and Society
    h. Participation in Community services
    i. Promotion of Entrepreneurship
  6. Any other relevant work as assigned by the Managing Director / Academic Director.
