AZORA, the inaugural function of the English Literary Association of Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakkara, for the academic year 2018-19 was conducted on 14th September 2018. The association was officially inaugurated by Benjith Baby(Film Director) and Anto James(Actor) who also had an interactive session with the students and teachers. Manager of Bharata Mata College, Rev. Fr. Jacob G. Palakkappilly, Film actor Anto James and HoD Lissy Kachappilly spoke on the occasion. The new office bearers took charge with the Oath taking ceremony led by the HoD. Meritorious students especially the A-grade holders and the NET qualified students of the department were given trophies and medals as tokens of appreciation. The aftermovie of CHRYSALIS’18, the annual inter-collegiate fest conducted by the Post graduate Department of English was released by Rev. Fr. Jacob G. Palakkappilly. The official function was followed by cultural programs by the students.
