Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights Jointly Organized By Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara and KSCSTE, PIC, Kerala on Dec 4th, 2018. Impact greater awareness about IPR which has gained a special importance for all the domains of socio-economic development. Technical session I: was handled by Sri. V P Balagangadharan, Former Bharamparakesh Scientist, VSSC, TVM. He narrated the history of IP Patent Laws, national IP policy, options available to creator, how it can be commercialized and the criteria for protecting patents. Technical session II: Academics and economy, was delivered by Adv Binoy Kadavan through case studies.
Technical session III: Focused on patentability criteria and patent filling procedure. Adv. Febin James described the ways and means to safeguard the rights over our intangible creative expressions with specific reference to patents.
Technical session IV: The session was an interactive and practical session on patent searching procedure and also covered on support from Patent Information Center Kerala on IPR protection. It was handled by Sri Vishnu V A , Project fellow, PIC Kerala, KSCSTE . The seminar Concluded by 4.15 pm with distribution of certificates and vote of thanks.
