The department of Hindi has been an inevitable part of Bharata Mata College from its very beginning in the year 1965. The department handles the second language classes for ten different courses. The various ventures organised by the department like observation of the Hindi week, academic lectures and conferences at the regional as well as national levels, annual manuscript magazines etc. play a very significant role in enhancing the Hindi language skills of the students.
