Three-day international conference on AI-Driven Innovations in E-Commerce

The Department of Commerce (Computer Applications) organised a "Three-day International Conference on AI-Driven Innovations in E-Commerce." The event features esteemed speakers and promises an enriching academic experience. The session began with a warm welcome address by the Head of the Department, Ms. Soumya Varghese, followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. Lissy Kachappilly, Principal, who emphasized the importance of academic excellence and innovation. The conference commenced on January 20th, with its opening graced by Prof. Dr. M. Junaid Bushiri, Vice Chancellor of CUSAT, who inaugurated the session. Dr. Shinya Takahshi from NITTA Gelatin Japan was our esteemed guest of honor. Dr. Johnson KM, Academic Director, emphasized global trends and the importance of AI in E-Commerce. Ms. Bini Rani Jose, Vice Principal, and Dr. Shibi B, Academic Development Coordinator, offered felicitations during the event. The demonstration of "Tara," developed by I-Hub, added immense value, making the day meaningful and informative. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anusree M, Program Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers. After the inaugural session, a technical session was handled by Mr. Gourinath, I-Hub AI Engineer. The afternoon technical session was led by Dr. Sooraj Krishna, Co-founder and CTO of NeuBiom Labs, on the topic "From Trust to Transformation: A Human-Centric Approach to AI." Following this, a paper presentation session was chaired by Dr. Sooraj Krishna, with delegates from other colleges presenting their papers.
