Department of Commerce (Finance & Taxation) is organising a Three day international conference on New Frontiers in Commerce: Opportunities and Challenges in Globalised Economy. The event featured esteemed speakers and set the tone for an enriching academic experience. The session commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Asst.Prof. Julie P J, Academic Development Coordinator and General Convenor, followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. Lissy Kachappilly, Principal, who emphasized the importance of academic excellence and innovation. The Inaugural Speech was delivered by Dr. Letha Janeki, Pro Vice Chancellor, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Kochi. She highlighted the significance of collaboration in academia. The Keynote Address by Mr. Fenil Vadakken, Director of Growth and Senior Country Manager (IMAIPL), focused on global trends and growth strategies.Ms. Bini Rani Jose, Vice Principal felicitated during the event. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks by Asst.Prof. Ancy Antony, Head and General Convenor, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers. The post-inaugural technical session was conducted by Mr. George Kurien Karappillil, Director, Finance Accounting & Procurement, Conduent Business Services India LLP. His session provided valuable insights into advancements in financial technologies and their practical applications in modern industries.The first day concluded successfully with meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to fostering academic and industry partnerships.
